Question... I'm looking to make this kind of image using an existing image but am not sure which tutorials to turn to. I had some work done years ago that turned this image


Into this...


Can anyone point me to a tutorial, ignoring the line/burst bg behind the image? Thanks in advance

Hello and welcome to PSG.

There may not be a specific tutorial for this particular effect, but it's very easy to accomplish.

Start with an image.


Desaturate the image.


Add a layer mask and remove the background.


Posterize


Add a stroke layer style


Now you're ready to add a background.
