Photoshop Cs6 help

Hello all

I require some assistance.

I'm would like to use our ultrasound scan to produce a watercolour picture, like the example below.

Any help much appreciated

here is an example PSD

I made the scan into black&white and masked the edges
I loaded some free watercolor-brushes and placed 1 blue brush and 1 green brush on white canvas
and then changed the mode of the "scan"-layer into "overlay"
