Ok it is obvious we are having an increase of trolls lately; we also know where they are coming from.

Please do not respond to them if you see them (and most of us know what to look out for). Use the report button.

What we are doing as staff towards them:
Banning them
Then if they comeback with duplicate accounts we Ban their IP Address altogether
When Banning Them and their Ip address, Ip and sub Ip addresses, go onto several Global Spam filter databases. This makes their Ip very hard to register at sites, ie forums. Youtube, even Facebook, has now incorporated these databases into their new membership procedures.

Yeys! I find it funny when people feed the troll ahaha, and when it is an intelligent trolling, not just pickup paint and do some stupid things... Anyways, don't feed the troll people!

yes and 2 other troll sites have linked to us we understand sometimes humourous edits have there place but we are a resource to help people and socialise with fellow photoshoppers from amateur to seasoned professionals.

sorry not prepared to give them free advertising on 1 of the most popular photoshop resources on the web so I have removed site names and links.

Hello,
this may be a stupid question, but it concerns me since this has happened to me years before. My provider gives dynamic IP addresses, so I get different each time IP address refreshes after new connect. When somebody spams or trolls from that address and it get banned, I can live with it since I would eventually get another one, but do I have any chance if somebody is so bad the whole subnet is banned ? I think on some sides there is exception for already created logins who never made trouble, they can connect even from banned IPs. Is there any rule about it here ? Of course for me the main issue here is to read, but sometimes it is very helpful to ask too ;-)
Thank you,
Peter

all you need to worry about is if you troll the forum you will get banned dynamic IP or not.

If you are a genuine member who wants to actually be part of the community and not troll against us then you will be fine.
