Hello and welcome to PSG.

Are you referring to a Levels Adjustment? (IMAGE > ADJUSTMENTS > LEVELS) This is a one time adjustment that always starts at 0 to 255.........no matter what you've done before.

Are you using a Levels Adjustment layer? (LAYER > NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER > LEVELS) Which is different in that you can go back and make changes to it. The adjustment will be exactly where you left it if and when you return to it.
