Dear Forum

Well, I just want to get a Band's Logo extracted and just in black in front of a white background...to design a t-shirt for me. But the Logo is very hard to extract it's kinda like hair, and I'm no able to handle it. Therefore, I'd like to ask one of you experienced guys if you could help me out with it and try to do that for me? That would be awesome.

p.s I googled some hours and I didn't find an useable version of the logo (extracted).

You can find the logo ond their website: machinehead1.com
(just the words not the sign)

thanks a lot

Here is just the letters.
Machine Head Logo copy2.jpg

To make this I assume that you have taken a screen shot of their website.

To isolate the lettering Crop first then
1 create a new layer
2 drag new layer under the image layer
3 Click the image layer
4 Use the blend if grey This Layer sliders in the fx menu, hold alt and click the black slider to split it. set sliders to 176 and 216
5 Done in about 30 seconds.
