OK........

Create a new layer above your frame layer, like this......

Leave the Frame board layer highlighted.

Select your Rectangular Marquis Tool.

Make a selection that looks like this.....

Now select your brush Tool.

Set in on Black.

Opacity and Flow at 100%.

Hardness to 0%.

Spacing to 1%.

Place your brush at the upper right edge of the frame board.

Click the brush (mouse) then hit and hold the shift key.

Drag the brush towards the bottom right edge of the frame board.

Repeat the process on the left side.

Should look like this.

Hit Cmd/Cntrl + D to deselect.

Now add a 4.5 Gaussian Blur.

Done.
