Hello, and how are you doing?

I have a serious question, and I'm little cautious about asking it because I don't want to get a Cyber Beat Down here in Photoshop Guru Forum.....

But, I will anyways....

I have both Illustrator and Photoshop. But I am really more comfortable using Photoshop more so than Illustrator when in comes to creating Graphics.

What I want to know is, can I use Photoshop to design Graphics kinda like the Graphics people create in Illustrator? I am wanting to create a Logo for a Blog, and because I am more comfortable with Photoshop, I would like to use it. This is the reason for my Question.

Also, is there any Custom made Shapes for Photoshop of the Adult Nature? My Blog is an Adult Blog, so I was just wondering as well if there are any Adult Shapes that I could use..... ( Don't Judge !).... Lol

As for your question about Making designs like you can in Illustrator, there are some limitations since AI is all vector. But there are a lot of vector tools in PS. Like the shpes as you know. There is also the pen tool for drawing or if you want to trace around a shape to use. A logo for a blog doesn't need the same resolution of a design for a poster or magazine so you should be pretty safe. As for you other question, big shrug from me. No idea. Make your own with the pen tool

Make your own with the pen tool, oh clare my monitor just got a soaking:bustagut:

If you feel comfortable working in Photoshop, go for it. But there are certain limitations one of which is crispness of an object or shape.

There are human shapes available around... Fonts or object images. I suggest looking for AI format shapes which could be imported into PS. Done in an Illustrator/vector apps, these retain its crispness when opened in PS.

Hope this helps you.

Mooapo, since you're comfortable with Ps and want to make custom shapes with it, I suggest you learn to use the pen tool along with the selection tools. Although Ai makes is extremely simple to create custom shapes with the Shapebuilder tool, Ps can do the same. It just takes more effort. One thing to remember here is that Ps is suited for web-based graphics. Ai is meant for print design. Also, if you have it you may want to give Fireworks a shot.
