recreate text highlight

hi im new to photoshop im designing some flyers and have decided that i like the current font im using whilst highlighted with the cursor its a kinda transparent inverted effect how do I recreate this effect thanks

use the marquee tool traw a rectangle box around the tet on a new layer and fill it with a desired colour and then lower the opacity right down. and then the text layer you can set the blending mode to inverted or any other blending mode but you will be far better off just changing the colour.
