What version of PS do you have and can you post a screen shot like the one I posted
You could also try resetting PS preferences
(Mac)

Double click on Adobe Photoshop’s icon.
Holding down the Command, Option, Shift keysquickly
When a dialog box appears, click Yes.
(Windows)

Double click on Adobe Photoshop’s icon.
Holding down the Ctrl+Alt+Shift quickly
When a dialog box appears, click Yes.
