Specific Remove annoying branch

Is it possible to remove at least part of the branch (hopefully the part that cuts through the bird?) (Canada Warbler)

I did not use AI or content aware fill, it's just the Brush Tool. Don't be afraid to point out an area that may need to be addressed.

I selected the bird, leaves and branches a cloned over the offending branch.

This repair is no easy task. I'm very curious the steps you took using the brush tool....
