Specific Remove shadow

Hello! Hoping to have some help removing this shadow in the photo and creating some brighter natural light thank you for your time

To be honest, removing shadow is usually a bad idea, making the image look weird and without volume.

In my opinion, is a cool backlight picture, what I would do is fix the blue cast on the shadow and some minor fixes, I made a fast example.

Btw I wasn't sure if the pants on the left girl were white or blue I keep them blue XD.

Agree with Argos. Here's one with less colour cast, lighter shadows, lens blur.

I also agree. I took it too far and added some shadow back in but not enough

@ex_teacher - Great work on removing the shadow! But I agree with you, Argos and Babine, removing the shadow is a bad idea and looks extremely fake!

Not a problem. This is a tough edit...........removing the shadow that is. It's often easy to miss the minor details when you work fast.

PS. I thought you had an avatar photo earlier...............did you remove it?
