Hi,
I am looking for someone to help me out here. I have a workflow which at the moment is very tedious.
I create 100s of photographs that each have their own unique file name which is a SKU code. Eg: 0001234
For me to use this file on the site I use I need 4 versions of it.
These are a 400x400 large file
300x300 medium file
150x150 small file
60x60 thumb file.
These 4 files need to be loaded into a system with the SKU code eg:
0001234_l
0001234_m
0001234_s
0001234_t
What I have at the moment is 4 different sized files with exactly the same name saved into 4 different folders to avoid being overwritten.
What I really want is for the file to be created in Photoshop with unique names saved during the action process in the same folder.
This process will be
(once file is opened into Photoshop)
1, Image Size/400x400
2, Save as 0001234_l
3, Image Size/300x300
4, Save as 0001234_m
5, Image size/150x150
6, Save as 0001234_s
7, Image size/60x60
8, Save as 0001234_t
At the moment I have to use a batch rename application and then drag them into my ftp server. I do this a lot and its affecting me having a clean process by not having the file names created during the action.
Each imported jpeg will have a different file name but each one will end with the exact same ending which is _l
Can this be done?
