They are 2 separate documents IE on separate tabs. The method I used before (and it was a couple of years and a few million dead brain cells ago!) was something like select the first document, select resize and it then allowed you to select the other window (or document) as a reference. I just cant remember exactly how to do it. I am with some students at the moment and went to show them and I just couldn't remember - always when someone is watching
