Hello,
I am coding the html for a client who has provided me with a PSD file.
One of the pages in the PSD is the print version of a page. When I go in the menu to look at the image size, I see 8.5 wide by 11 in high, resolution: 72ppi. My problem is that when I cut the top banner (which is about 7.5 inches wide) and I save it, it says 96dpi in the windows file properties. Therefore, when I do a print preview, the banner appears much smaller than it should.
Any ideas on why it says 96dpi when I save it?
Only way I found to make the image the right size is by changing the resolution in photoshop to 96ppi. However, the width in pixels becomes higher, so I am assuming the quality will be lower?
Thanks!
