Sand/scratched texture effect

Hey again!
I'm in a serious spot of bother, I'm trying to create a new background and i want to create a backdrop for the main image, the backdrop has a sand based theme, ok Im waffling.
I googled the internetz and came across this image, which is pretty much spot on for what I'm trying to create:


What I'm trying to say here, is does anyone know how to either create this from scratch, or know a texture similiar to it? I've searched but all i find is grunge textures, this has a bit more elegance in my opinion.

I'm not looking for a detailed tutorial or anything, just need pointing in the right direction, I havent really created it myself if I have used a tutorial right?

They are all 404 or parked domains ^^

<EDIT> On further examining of the tuts there, they seem to be more for general sand, I'm more interested in the scratches you can see. Thanks for the links though

Thanks, I went on to the main site and was able to find some textures that are working, I'll post the results when I'm done
