Hi folks,

I created this rainbow gradient. Saved it in the swatches panel (if there is a better place, please let me know).

But when I open up another document, the rainbow gradient isn't available.

Can anyone explain how to make this gradient accessible in other documents? And I mean explain it to me like I'm a four-year old.

Thanks!

You can save a new gradient from the Gradient Picker screen. Will that work for you ?

Go intoyour layer style window> click on gradient overlay> click on newstyle> create the gradient combination you want> click on ok>
go back to your gradient overlay style window click on the gradient preview> your new gradient will be at the bottom of the list
