Hey Guys!

Completely new to this part of the forum! I am looking for someone to possibly help me create a very simple (or what looks simple) video that I can use on my website. I saw something on Youtube and liked the look of it. I was told it was done in After Effects which is something I can't really use...

Very nice! I had a trial of after effects once and could not figure out how to use it. Your video was really well done.

It is not actually very hard to do typography style videos especially in after effects. However they get very time consuming and fiddely. That is why they cost so much to have them made for you. I made a 10 second 1 for someone and charge $150 for it because it took 8 hours to make.

After effects is brilliant for it in some ways because of all the built in text animation effects etc but also makes it a lot harder without being able to have a live preview you have to render it to preview your text animation to make sure it is in sync with your audio.

1 of my favourite kinetic typography took days to make with just 48 seconds
