Hoping someone can help with a sticky situation. I have some files that use Smart Objects for various elements. For me, when I open these files I am able to access/edit the vector images associated with these Smart Objects. However, I keep having a third party printer (to whom I've sent these files) who is needing to make updates to these files directly with our client tell me all these elements are rasterized and they cannot resize the elements as if they were vector.

Are these Smart Objects and their original vector pieces embedded in the file I am sending to the printer?...or does it only work for me because these elements link to these vector elements within my system? In online searches I've found information that seems to suggest either of these possibilities and it is just not clear. This is causing so much back and forth and frustration between me, the printer and my client that I'm sure all of our heads are about to explode!

Thanks for any help!
