Nothing wrong with that... but I'm assuming that isn't the effect that you're going for. My first guess is that when you apply the "wind" filter, you have it set to "stagger" and not "wind" and it's shifting the pixels both directions... hence the hole in the middle. If that isn't the answer you're looking for, maybe post an example/link to see the effect you WANT or explain what ISN'T working in yours. :)
