Sword WIP

I tried to make a sword in 3D lately. I found it interesting to make an object with perspective etc. I know it's not all that convincing but could do with some critics.

One thing that I find very hard is to add realistic scratches. It gets too clean and "perfect".

My immediate response is that the perspective is a little too radical, cartoon like. Perhaps that was intended. I'm not a photographer but the only time I see such a radical perspective is when a photographer uses his lenses to achieve such an effect. The sword handle itself looks too thin for the rest of it, and the taper toward the knob at the back is wrong to my eye but that's a complaint with the sword design, not the image.
