Hi, from this image:
impala-corrected-1024x1024.png

I would like to understand how to get an image like this:
impala-corrected1-1024x1024.png

If anyone can explain how I can do this.

With only the opacity function, it doesn't work.
(I had followed a video on YouTube, but I cannot find it any more).

I need it as a background for a book page

Thanks for the help.

Hi @omegapi
Here is another way to get your image.
Place a white Layer underneath your original and then on the original Layer, set the opacity down to the level until you get the version you prefer.
Here is a screenshot with the Layers Panel to see this approach.

In Photoshop, there are always a number of ways to do the same thing.

PS - the sample image you provided is very small in pixels. If it is going in a book, best to make sure you have enough pixels for good resolution.

Thanks to replay. (I've an old Version of Photoshop)

I use this:

1) I load the image
2) in the layers window, I choose the icon: "create new fill or adjustment layer.
3) right click: and I choose "solid colour"
4) a window of colours opens, I pick white.
5) I adjusted the opacity on the white layer.

So I had what I whish
