Hello!

I´m a new member and my first post will be a question!

Short explainedI´m making a DVD cover for a customer . The cover will basically look like a cover that the customer had made a few years ago. It is  only going to be scaled to new format and adjusted a bit here and there. Unfortunately , the customer has not been able to find the original files for the cover. What I have to work with are some jpegs that show the old cover and the original color images.

So what I have to do is take the original image ( the color one ) and treat it so that it looks like the one in black and white. The only problem is that I can't figure out how to do this... Looks easy though...

What I have tried to do is ( after rdeleting background and turned it to grayscale ) made it to bitmap in slightly different ways , experimenting with different resolution etc , but the effect is not the same.

Maybe someone in here who can figure out what has been done ? All help is very appreciated! Thanks in advance !

/J
