Updates, upgrades and new drivers

New drivers (version 4.93-3) dated Oct 07, 2005 are available for the following Wacom tablets: Intuos3, Intuos2, Intuos1, Graphire2, Graphire, CintiqPartner, Cintiq 21UX, 18SX, 15X and PL 500 on Windows 2000, XP or XP x64, MacOS X 10.2.8 and later.

The latest version is 4.93.3

Note that this newest driver is just a RC version (Release Candidate) which means it has passed Wacom's internal testing but isn't yet burned and bundled with their tablets. In short, this is a beta version which is expected to have no unanticipated side effects but...

Strange, I did not see it listed as RC, usually they do list it next to the number of the driver. Thanks for noting it, then...

I've installed the new Wacom drivers (for Intuous 3) and they work just fine so far.

Yep, ran my normal maintenance routines, copied my entire HD to a bootable external FireWire hard drive for backup and installed that upgdate yesterday (using the Combo updater rather than the Software Update version). No problems, no issues...nothing to see...

BTW, let's use a single thread for software updates, don't you think that it might be useful to consolidate the info?
