Using Actions

Hi, I recently took over responsibilities photographing vehicles, at the dealership work for. One thing I would like to do is, is add our logo banner to all of the photos I take. Typically I will do 3-4 vehicles at a time with about 25-30 photos each. Obviously I am going to want to use actions to complete this. I am looking for advice on how to do this within photoshop. I am somewhat familiar with actions, and can do things like resize, adjust colors, etc.

In all honesty if your doing a lot of pictures you may want to look at lightroom instead, far more effective at mass editing pictures and assuming you want your watermark in the same place this shouldnt be a problem, If all the photos need the same amount f post production work doing then you just edit 1 picture in the folder and apply that edit to all the pictures in the folder with 1 click.
Obviously this wont work for cloning as such unless it is dust removal from lens, but will work with color correction, exposure and watermarks etc.

In addition to LR (which is an excellent suggestion), there are also several stand-alone, simpler, inexpensive programs (eg, "Faststone Photo Resizer") that will put watermarks on all images in a folder with a couple of mouse clicks.

If you happen to have Photo Mechanic, that will also do it quite painlessly, and if you are a command-line maven, Image Magik used to be the absolute standard for this type of manipulation.
