using magic wand and filling with color

So i've been making paths then stroking the paths. After that i use the magic wand tool to select the area i want to fill. When i select with the magic wand it selects everything i want except the stroke itself, so i end up with this thin stroke line that makes my picture look funky. I know i could just fill the paths but i need different opacity and some aren't filled, but instead just stroked. Any ideas?

You could hit "Shift + the magic wand" to select the stroke too .. the shift button allows you to select many areas in the picture in the same time ..

go to select > Invert and that will select the opposit

can't select the stroke

go to select > Invert and that will select the opposit

the problem with that is then i am drawing onto other things on the same layer if they are right next to the stroke.
