Using the Brush tool.... speed of applying has slowed down....

Hi you guys.... I have a question for you...

Photoshop CC V. 19.0
Mac OS Mojave V. 10.14.6

Something has changed with my PEN TOOL....

When I use it, the tool has really slowed down from what it use to do. In the past, I would select a color and apply it (It use to be very fast).

I went into my Preferences and looked around and changed a few things but still no change when applying the color to my file.

Can you tell me what has happened and how to fix this? See attached screen shots...

I assume, based on your images that you're actually referring to the Brush Tool. So I changed your title.

As a rule, Ps just doesn't change suddenly. There's usually something or an event the precedes a change. Anything happen?

What's your smoothing set on? It should be 0%. Smoothing will drastically slow down your computer.

Boy.....IamSam....you were right on!!!!
It was set at 100 and I moved it to 0 and it made all the difference!
