I'm pulling my hair out trying to get this to work.

I've made a logo for my site and have had no problem in the past turning them into a brush but this time... I just don't get it.

Can someone help or tell me what I'm doing wrong? The top line should be white, the bottom left should be grey, bottom right should be blue. All contained on a transparent background.

When I save it as a brush, only the bottom row is displayed and it is all in grey.

If I open the logo in one window, I can cut/paste it into the destination photo but.. that's less than ideal as I can't resize. A brush is what I want.

Help!!

Photoshop uses grayscale info while defining brushes and will automatically convert any color to grayscale when you define it. Meaning that a brush can contain only black, white, or shades of gray.

Areas filled with white become transparent, so you won’t see them when you’re painting with the brush. Areas filled with black will be 100% visible, and shades of gray will only be partially visible depending on how close they are to black or white, with darker shades of gray being more visible than lighter shades.

The only color a brush can transfer is the chosen foreground color at the time of use.

This will work fine. Use your Move Tool to click and drag your logo to the tab containing the recipient image and wait for that tab to open it's image, then you move over that image and drop (release) the image you are moving and it should be in the new place.

You can resize easily using Free Transform (Command/Control + T). Hold the shift key while dragging a corner handle to maintain perspective.
