Hi, I've been using Photoshop for years ...completely self taught..but I don't always know how to accomplishing what I imagine in my head.

I was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback or suggestions on how to make this image look more realistic?

I've added a bit of shadow under the kettle but what can or should I do to the colouring of the kettle to make it look like it belongs in that scene?

Hi Tracy

One thing I would do is add some Noise to the kettle/barbecue thingy about 3 pixels and about 0.5 pixels of Gaussian Blur
The main image has a lot of noise going on and is slightly out of focus

- Try to adjust the colors to achieve an aged look.
- Add a vignette.
- Apply unsharp masking to increase sharpness and detail.
