What happened to my rounded rectangle tool??!!

Hello.


I was wondering if anyone could help me with a very annoying problem.


It seems like everytime i choose the "Rounded rectangle shape tool" it makes Squares not rounded.


Does anyone know why this is happening?

I am using Adobe Photoshop CS (8.0) for Windows.

You need to set the radius in the option bar at the top when you have the rounded rectangle tool selected, it's probably 0 or close to 0 right now.

It's always on 10px.

And it still does it....

Try a larger rectangle and a larger radius. Does it still leave square corners ?

If that's the case, then either your Photoshop is messed up or you have such a high resultion that you think you're looking at a straight corner. Have you also tried resetting your preferences?

Use Alt+Backspace instead of Ctrl+Backspace.

(Option+Delete on Mac)
