Workflow!!

Thought it might be cool to start a thread about workflow since we are already on the subject of inspiration..

What do you start with first? How do you usually progress??

I pretty much have no work flow i start messing around untill i get an idea and then run with that

I'll usually create my logo or 3d rendered text and then chuck that into photo shop and go for glory until i like what i have.
all tho my work takes me some time to complete im usually very happy with the result and have a completely unique output
since i do it for fun im hapy with it taking a few days/weeks

Yea, i like to take my time also, taking shortcuts can either pay off or hurt your design badly!!

I start with the object I want to focus on. And because of the nature of my work, I usually begin with a black and white image.

Then I begin adding stuff on top or behind until I feel I have enough detail

After that comes the after effects, such as gaussian blur (I love you) layers in different settings, color balance and whatever else I need to get things right.

The end result is a 30-40 layered mess. Not pretty and organized, but usually good looking.
