Size issues

When I create a new document in Illustrator [cs5] The size onsceen @300dpi
fills the screen @say100%..... Now heres the problem, when I bring this file
into photoshop It fills the screen @ like 54%, [same dpi settings]. Anybody have
a idea?

Oh yes, Jen, that does sound fun...Well it seems your file is a bitmap and illustrator is vector based...Oh I see where you are going with this, the vecter is resolution independent! Jenny you are so smart and cute. (kiss, kiss,) Let's go get a pizza and afterwards run some tests to make sure that was the problem....black olives on mine please!

Size issues -

For a second I thought this was going to be spam for Viagra. Now I understand why you were asking me about size issues in my INVADER ZIM thread.

I never really noticed a difference, but I also never tried to import an image in an identically-sized document. I shall have to test your theory (both of your theory, sorry!)

Not sure where Oz is, But I live in the upper midwest [US], ...Uploading my project is probibly not such a good idea [copyright issues]...
But the good news is I"ve come here to learn Illustrator,and work on something fun... and hope to upload that.
