Toggled Something on and Can't Toggle Off :(

Hmm... I have actually never worked in CS2 so anything I'm offering is going to be a guess from CS5. I haven't run into anything else that could be the culprit. Looking through the shortcut list for CS2 and haven't seen anything relevant. Maybe it will jog your memory...

Toggled Something on and Can't Toggle Off :(

Go to your "View" tab up top, scroll down to the "Show" dropdown, unclick "Layer Outlines". Mine are blue, so it's possible there's a setting for the layer outline colour, but I'm pretty sure that's the option.

    This morning's flyer!

Very nice, you display some highly professional work in your posts - and your work is of excellent quality on your site.

How do I Refine the Edges of a Stroke/Outline?

The man speaks truth. Tried it and it turned my jaggy pen tool lines into perfection. Thanks for the tip Adam! I suppose I don't typically use the in program pen tool all that often.

A taste of my new design.

I think I figured it out. It was the hover effect that had the rounded corners but expanded the container to overlap the link above it and below it, and extended to either side. I think you would have to create the original link including a frame around the content area and having the rounded...

How do I Refine the Edges of a Stroke/Outline?

Not a problem :P. Can you use the pen tool to define a layer? (instead of bitmap information?). I know you can use smart objects and import from illustrator, but have never really messed around doing it inside of photoshop; though I like the idea of keeping it all in one program.

A taste of my new design.

I would like to be able to do that, but currently don't have such a contact in my little black book. I think I've got an idea that could make it work :P.

Is there a way to temporarily "freeze" port of a photoshop canvas?

Just a student doesn't cover it. I have plenty of good work running back to when I was "Just an amature". It's all valid :P. I like your illustration style - though a lot of your new stuff is a bit abstract for me... mind you it gets the concepts across cleanly without having to dig a time pit...

Filtering an Image and Calculating the area

Aw, I was hoping there was some awesome application for it that I was previously unaware of. There's gotta be a reason to know doesn't there? :P.

A taste of my new design.

I like the process you've got going. I'd be curious to know how you got the popup effect working on your links. I suppose that would be for another forum?

Poll What OS Are You Currently Running?

Windows 7, was always told I should be on a Mac... but honestly never saw the need.

Poll Do you like the current forum theme?

I like it, but the white regions are very white. A tone or two darker for the text regions and the page bg would be great.

    Styles effects

Very nice, I like the use of effects being graded. Can't think of many other applications I'd use it for, but I like it for the purpose you preview here.

Is there a way to temporarily "freeze" port of a photoshop canvas?

Unfortunately, since you're using the selection during illustrating I think your best bet is to create a layer on top of your document that covers your "text" section and put text above that layer. The "hide crop" function won't work to disengage that region since it only "hides" it for...

Poll What Browser Are you using?

Chrome. I used to use Firefox, and sometimes am caught in IE but only when I'm editing websites.

Poll What Version of Photoshop Are You Using?

Experience in Elements, CS3, CS4, but am currently running CS5.

    This morning's flyer!

Nicely done, the lighting is a bit different on the main man and his mirrors, but honestly it doesn't take away from it at all. Well done!

    Need help blending two image~

Missed this one... apparantly I took too long throwing my windbag together. I like the texture. I guess if you REALLY wanted to get technical on the texture you could put the texture on the layer above, option click and apply the texture to the image, then warp the texture to match the folds of...
