3D 3D Typography UP-DOWN

This looks perfect to me Lambert.

Did you have create this 'raster material'?
And why did you almost lose your marbles? Can you explain?

I asume it was with matching the lines on the ground with the lines on the elevated arrow? I'm now with a headache thinking...XD, in reality thee lines woulnd't match doesn it?.

CheerS!

Thanks Chris.

I made the raster material in CorelDraw.

The horizontal and vertical surfaces are not a problem.
It's when you have to make the angled surfaces to fit those.

I started with doing all in one...not a good idea.
Then the horizontal and verical planes.
That was good but then came the slopes and the angled faces needing to be aligned with the horizontal and vertical ones...

Let me show me some inconsistenties

Thanks Argos.

That is what I'm trying to explain in my previous post.
When one connection seems aligned, there's a disconnection with another part.

I had a headache last night...:banghead:

Next time, I'll try something more simple...

Thanks Ged!

That one drove me crazy!

As I explained in the post above it was nearly impossible fit the regular pattern onto the slopes and angled faces and it took me hours to make it 'acceptable'...

Thanks for this explanation Lambert.

Just one thought: BLENDER is a very mean program!
