Change of background issue

Hi, I am struggling with below picture, any ideas how I can blend the subjects feet to make it look authentic, as it currently looks like I have slapped the subjects on the background. Apologies for the watermark, but the image is for a client.

I have added some drop shadow to the bride, but I am struggling with getting it looking good.

I solved it in the end by copying the lower part of the original image and blending it with the new background. This was the result:

Much better.
Drop shadow really isn't the way to go.
I assume the people are on there own layer.

One way to do it is to copy the layer.
Then use Curves to make the copied image black.
Anything that's not dead black you can paint black with the brush.
Lower the opacity until the shadow looks realistic and blur it
Then use transform to lay the shadow down and stretch it out and erase what you don't want, or need.
