How to create this separator

Hi,

How can I create a separator line like the one on the image below (the vertical one)?



It's like it's inside its background. Is it some kind of drop shadow effect on its right side? I've ben trying to recreate it but I had no luck.

Hey DT,

Not sure if this is what you want. This is only one of many ways this effect can be accomplished.



If this is what your referring to, then create a line of your choice using the tool of your choice.

Add a layer style similar to the following and adjust to your liking.
