Hi, how do i make the blue background to be white??? I have no idea why is the background is in blue. Can this be done by photoshop?

you have the wrong white balance selected open up in camera raw select the left eye dropper tool and click on the plate that tells raw that that is the white balance of the image and corrects it

Yes you can of course.
For perfect result it isn't so easy and need more than one adjustment but for normal result it good (at least for a start).

Image/Adjustment/Curves...
1. Double click (where showed will bring new panel)
2. Set numbers in C,M,Y,K (8,6,6,0).
3. Press OK (it closecolor selecting panel).
4. Now with pincette (new mouse cursor) click on some area on plate (i clicked where black mark is).

Hopefully you'll get normal result. You can click in other place too till you think image look good.
You can not do 1,2,3 step and you default white point setting but that will highlight image too much (even with those it will hapen a little).
