Hello, I have PS CS5, everything worked just fine but one problem has occured yesterday.. Whatever I open in photoshop looks brighter than it really is. When I save the picture in photoshop and open it with something else, it looks normal though.

The photo on the left is as it should look and photo on the right is what it looks like when I open it in photoshop.

Thanks for your help :)

You can't use links but you can post the image with the
insertimage.png
icon.
I had to convert it to a jpg but here it is.

Photoshop uses color management web browsers generally don't.

Check your settings.
Go to Edit|Color Settings and select North America Prepress 2 or North America General Purpose.

The main difference between them is sRGB or Adobe RGB as the RGB setting.

Go to View and make sure there is no check mark next to Proof Colors.
If there is, uncheck it or use Ctrl+Y , Cmd+Y on a Mac.

I played a little with profiles, then checked the settings again and problem solved, thank you very much :)
