Wow! just picked up a intuos tablet today, not as easy as i thought it would be LOL!
Will take sometime before i feel comfortable with it. I am clicking on far too many things by accident. :(
Any tricks ?

set up your pen, get used to it, before playing with the "touch" features....you can switch this off with a button. And play the silly games that come with it.....the "birdie" is stupid, but will get you comfy with the pen.:idea:

It will feel natural in time. I remember the first time I started using a tablet, I wasn't sure if it was the way to go, but you quickly realize how valuable it is to have one.

Thanks MikeMc I did turn off the touch pad, for now, and using only the pen until relax enough, right now it's very slow going, I feel like someone who never used a mouse before, it's that funny :)

If you haven't already turn on the pen pressure under brush settings. I remember having lots of fun with that when I first got my tablet.

Thanks RTC That's how I feel, after plugging it in and using it, I was pondering to bring it back to the store, for a refund. But i'll hang in there. I know that i am more precise with some of the tools in tracing and selecting, just very slow right now.

Gary, give it a bit. I felt that way for a few days too. I then figured out what and how the pen and buttons do..by accident, and I loved it at once. I have mine set to right click and double click. I started in with the pen tool, which I was useless with my trakball...and I now use and love the pen !!
