I started learning Photoshop to start restoring old family photographs of mine and I was amazed at some of the things you can do with the program and I've been using it for many different things ever since. nice to see pieces when you respect the color cast of the old photos and not trying to make them look like now-days prints.

It would be great if you made a tutorial (doesn't need to be video) of how you do something so difficult as the family on the bench where the original is almost faded to nothing. Just a thought. :}

Pretty much had to rebuild his face where it was ripped. I made selections over the parts I needed to rebuild (feather slightly) and then start cloning and painting in parts {inc. Shadows etc} that was needed. Was quite time-consuming seeing as it was slightly smaller size photograph to what I'm used to working with but well worth it in the end.
