Trouble with batch processing in CS6

I am trying to batch process a set of 100 jpeg photos in CS6 and I am having issues. Here is what I did so far...

1. disable opening of ACR when the jpeg opens, so it opens right in PS
2. Open up the first picture in the picture folder, in Adobe Bridge, double click to open in PS
3. Record action that has the following (auto-contrast, smart sharpen (set parameters) and image resize). Finished the recording.
4. Closed out of PS, re-opened and choose File- Automate- Batch
5 Chose my action, designated a second folder for the edited files to go into, assign a 3 digit serial number etc etc..

When I run it, I get the following errors:

-"The command levels is currently not available"
-"The command smart sharpen is currently not available"
-"The command image size is currently not available"

Am I missing some piece to this? Any clues?

Thanks

You probably need to rasterize the image layer first if you are doing it this way. Right click on the layer and select rasterize.

Hmmm, Im confused. There are no layers involved in this process, its one image, no layers added. I right click on it and dont see that option.

Should I be going about this a different way? By all means let me know.

Thanks

What I meant was the macro that you recorded needs to be modified.

Once a picture is opened: Layers -> Rasterize.

Hi again, sorry for sounding like a newbie but I am lost. I opened a regular .jpeg file to record the macro on. The first thing I did was go to Layers-> Rasterize but Rasterize is grayed out. Do I need to do some other action first? (I am failry new to PS, coming from Elements, so sorry for being slow)

Thanks again
