So, my cellphone is kind of retarded and somehow screwed the enclosed pic, I was wondering if someone could fix the pic so the two parts are together, I have tried many things unsuccessfully, I know this is probably a simple task, but i haven't found a way.
Thanks in advance.

Don't like opening images - to scared of what's in them...

Hi east, welcome to the forum.

Would you explain what you mean by "put the two parts together" please?

If we know the situation, we can guide you through how to do this in Photoshop. We're a support forum and always willing to give direction to PS users.

Clone stamp of varying sizes good placement and subtle light reworking here and there creates bobs uncles sister in law, or just try what sammy did:thumbsup:

Well, if you see the image i posted, you can see there is a gap between two halves, i don't know why, but my cellphone copied it like this to my pc, and other images in more bizarre ways, i figured this one was easier to save, but i tried different methods in PS and (not proud) paint (yes, it says paint) but with no succes, what i want(ed) is exactly what IamSam just did in the post above yours.

Thaks btw IamSam, and you too ibclare, for your interest and fast response, right now im trying with another pic my phone messed up, and when PD defeats i will post it to see if you guys can do me any help.

Oh I see the banding now when I click on the jpeg non-image, lol. Good. Now Sam, could you explain your process so east will know how to do it with other images if it happens again? Danke.

Sure Claraby!

I opened the photo and zoomed out.
I used the Rectangular Marquee tool to make a precise selection of the lower portion of the photo and pressed control/command + J to duplicate the selection.
I did the same for the top half of the photo.
Turn off any other layer except the two new duplicates.
I used the Move Tool to nudge the two together.
I had to use the transform function (control/command + T) to rotate the lower section slightly.
Once I had them lined up perfectly, I merged the two layers.
I then used the Spot healing brush to heal any remnant lines.
I used the Crop Tool to crop the uneven edges.
Done.

While you are at it, it only takes a few minutes more to use ACR to help tame the overall red cast, loss of contrast from a dirty lens and straighten the image. You might also want to consider dropping in a new (fake) sky (using PS).
