Saving all PSD file layers as jpg with layer name

Is there a way, a built-in function, for example, that would cause each layer in a PSD file to get saved as an individual jpg file, with its layer name as the jpg filename?

The only way I can imagine doing it is with an Action.
 
Here is a script I wrote a few years ago that should work for you.
You will get a different menu depending if there are layersets or not.

@Paul MR - i'ts offtopic a little but I wanted to say Thank You :) I've been using this script for several years, everyday (ton of times ;P). I use a lot of scripts but still this one is my most valuable one :)
 
You can also go file > generate images so long as your layers are named things like layer1.jpg or layer5.png

That encouraging to hear. I've dl'd the zip file and unzipped it, having yet added it to the Scripts in Ps. btw I didn't see that Ps Script option.
