What's best for what i want to do, photoshop or AI?

I want to create pictures for my social media, and also have control over the background. For example, every time they took pictures of me playing live with my band the pictures were very bad. My idea would be to use ai or Photoshop, and I'm not sure what's the best road to take.

I have photoshop on my pc and a profassional canon camera and some bulbs for indoor lighting. I'm thinking i could take a picture of me playing guitar and photoshop myself on a stage. That's was the idea until i found this picture, the guy on the beach surfing has created the picture with AI., I have seen his real pictures, and there is no difference; it's very realistic.

The only way you could find out it's AI-generated is the fact that it's too perfect if you know what I mean, if he added some random people far on the background/horizon there would be no way for anyone to know it's AI.

Also, it would be nice to generate a picture of me skating, again, i skate, and every time my friends took pictures of me were awful and not worth putting on social media.

I want pictures like this, but my face is only attractive at certain angles where the jawline is visible or when I'm lean and wearing a hat:






I also want some random pictures with random but cool backgrounds, for example, pictures like this






without having to go to a real luna park.

Same doubt about this also, best to get pictures of me with my professional camera to get my most attractive angle, and photoshop myself, or try ai

So I need to take many pictures and choose the few good ones, so what's best for me, learn to generate myself or just stick to photoshopping real pictures of me? I'm afraid of the way AI would generate me, I only like myself in the pictures I showed

Another option would be real pictures of me, but instead of Photoshop ask AI to add the background only, as i'm afraid ai won't generate an attractive picture of me if i give it 10 pictures of me and he does the average to generate me

frankly, having ps on your pc isn't going to give you the results you expect / want without a great deal of experience in using photoshop. what you're after requires a great deal of skill so that it looks natural, that in itself is difficult at the best of times.

as for ai, i've used it for various purposes, but creating realistic images such as you're after is beyond my knowledge - i'm sure there's others around who can offer you more concrete advice.

It would seem as though you have given yourself advice. Use whatever method that gives you the result your looking for.

In all honesty, I think vanity is crippling. You may be your own worst enemy when it comes to your own personal view of yourself.

As far as what I would do, the simplest solution is always best, I suggest that you just have someone take photos of you in the proper setting and avoid the trouble of trying to place yourself in the setting using Ps and/or AI. If that's not an option that appeals to you, and you don't have the Ps skills to realistically add backgrounds, then AI is the way you may want to go.
