I'm trying to achieve something similar to this desing. I'm pretty sure they have used liquify. but I'm not sure how they have done it so evenly and organic.

Any ideas?

Thanks

What makes you think that this was created in Photoshop? Can you link us to the person or business that's claiming that they made this with Photoshop? Or are you just guessing?

Is this the same fabric on this dress?

Can you post or link us to the original image?

If anything, this looks to be cut and pasted. I'm guessing that it may have been just "warped" and "liquefied" into a selected (constrained) area like the dress. "Organic" can be nothing other than simple shading creating depth and following the natural lines and flow of the original dress.

Hi Sam

Yes it was a guess to the creation in photoshop.

I managed to figure out something in the end. I used a combination of Photoshop and fresco

Thanks for replying! Just so I'm sure about what you were asking, was it how to create the pattern itself or how it was applied to the dress?? I may have misunderstood your original question.

It was how to create the pattern.

Thanks for trying to help!

I’d say you’re on the right track with liquify. To keep it even and more “organic,” try using a larger brush with lower pressure, and make slower, smaller movements instead of big drags. That way the flow looks smoother and less forced. You can also combine it with warp or puppet warp for finer tweaks after liquify.
