Growing effect

[Marcelo N]

Hello guys.

Can anyone tell me how I can apply this effect you see here on the word "VAIDADE"?
It creates an optical illusion for me, as if the word were growing while I look at it.

Thanks in advance,

MN

Red text on darker background with red outer glow layer style. Lower it's opacity so you can see any underlying imagery.
The text looking like it's between the foreground subject and the background subjects, is just a layer mask on the text layer.
