    Crash effect

Thanks Rich, that helps me a lot though I'll have to really search for a crash image with the colour of the sidecar but fine............ I'll post a picture of the sidecar later. I basically had to "rebuild" it as it was shown originally from the wheel side and I I needed to get rid of that...

    Crash effect

I have a picture of a sidecar but want to change the picture so that it looks like it's crashed into a tree so showing lots of damage. I've tried trawling the internet but can't find any tutorial that suits so can someone please give me a few pointers as to what I need to do, if it's at all...

    Brush Thumbnails in PS2022

Many thanks for that, I just wanted the brush tips as I use my brushes as stamps rather than sweeping strokes......... Still trying to get to grips with PS 2022 so that's a real help.

    Brush Thumbnails in PS2022

In CS5 I could see small thumbnails of what the brushes were like so that I can decide which one I want to use but since switching to PS2022 I just see a wavy line which isn't much use. I'm sure there's a way to change the view somewhere in settings but can't find it so any help in how to alter...

    PS 23.5.3 and Brush Sets

So, some of you may have seen my previous post here whereby I've had to upgrade from CS5 to PS 23.5.3 with the result that all the brush sets I had in CS5 are not available in the new version. I do have them saved in a file on my computer just in case so can I now just reinstall them in the new...

    CS6 & Mac OS Catalina

Sooooooooo have bitten the cash cow and gone the way of Catalina and a yearly licence for PS 23.5.3 as it would appear that PS 24 needs Big Sur. Still getting to grips with the newness of it all and the fact that more often than not I get the msg "An error has occurred and Photoshop will close...

    CS6 & Mac OS Catalina

Thanks John......... that's really helpful........... As I've said I don't really have much choice to move on in terms of OS and hold my breath. I've even considered (you may want to look away now..............) going AWOL to Luminar............... but would prefer to stick to what I know...

    CS6 & Mac OS Catalina

Thanks John......... Can't see the link though I'm afraid and have just seen on the Adobe website that the installation of "2022" is blocked for OS10.15.X which I believe is Catalina. They're saying that you need Big Sur to run Photoshop 2022 vers24 I'm not convinced that even if I could get my...

    CS6 & Mac OS Catalina

Thanks John and apologies for not getting back sooner but Photoshop/Catalina isn't the only thing that seems to have gone pear-shaped of late. Sadly. So I need to go for Photoshop 2022, fine but do you know if then files worked on or compatible with files worked on an older system. My iMac is...

    CS6 & Mac OS Catalina

Let's try again. Is CS6 compatible with Catalina or do I need Photoshop 2022? The more I search the more confused it gets

Distressing or ageing an object - Advice needed please

Hi, I need to try and "age" this object as per attached photo. I'm using CS5 by the way. At present as you can see it looks like it's just off the shelf but I want to incorporate in a background of a building site and therefore, for realism want it to look like it's dusty, been used just a bit...
