Web design to show your work

Thanks, I see how to edit my signature now :D Inkz, I would love to host most of my work on a website of some sorts but my HTML and PHP knowledge is very basic. Do you know any good free templates and hosting sites where I can show off my work? I want something attractive but simple. I have a...

    Image Restoration (2 examples)

Thanks for explaining what an exposure layer is and about masking parts with black and white paint but I already know about this. I was simply asking why he showed me this adjustment layer. If it was because some parts of my image were too dark, then I understand but it came out pretty good...

    Image Restoration (2 examples)

The line you speak of is a washing line used to hang clothes on so the wind and dry them. I agree, it would look better if this line was removed. I took a look at your photo restoration... good job and yes, very old fashioned photos indeed. @hawkeye, I do not understand what you are trying to...

Restoration work on older, actually, to me, ancient photographs.

I think you done a really good job on both images. I am not sure if I could do a better job myself, I would assume no but haven't tried for long. A few things.... on the 2nd picture, the right side of the left window could be improved, I see a cloned object in the window, and the window is...

Making Someone Look Wet (Did I Pull It Off?)

I didn't actually use a tutorial for this. I selected wet skin from other photos and applied to my model. By using various layer blends, the colour matched up nicely. The burn tool helped a bit too!

Making Someone Look Wet (Did I Pull It Off?)

Thanks for your feedback all. I have made her face less white but I am not sure what I can do about the artifical look of the face. I have tried a few things without success. I think overall, I have achieved what I wanted to do, but now I have a few comments to back that up.

    Image Restoration (2 examples)

Yeah, the first picture I didn't have much to clone, it because tricky, especially the shorts! This work is over a year old now, and looking back, I think I can improve it some more if I wanted. I have a few new techniques I could use to improve the first photograph, although the 2nd, I am not...

Making Someone Look Wet (Did I Pull It Off?)

About 2 years ago, I attempted to make a model look wet, as if she has been in the rain for a long time. I came up with the below image and would welcome suggestions on how I can improve it.

    Photo Insertion (2 examples)

I had a go at inserting my brother into various pictures and thought I would show you two examples. I have pixelated my brothers face just in case he doesn't want to be shown. I am wondering what I can do to make this look more realistic?
