    Tool change mystery

The mystery continues... I finally gave up looking for the reason many of my tools looked like a small + sign. Then as fast as it came it went away. Was working on Ps last night and all of a sudden my tools went back to working normally. Go figure??? I have no idea why.

Somehow when I find the answer I'll post the solution so that others who have the same problem can fix it.

    Tool change mystery

I know what a Wacom tablet is, Sam, I just have a habit of calling them a tablet. Sorry. I turn my computer off at night so it's been restarted with no effect on the problem. I just tried resetting Ps's prefs. No help there either.

    Tool change mystery

No, I'm using Mojave - 10.14.3, Sam. Using a computer, not a tablet.

    Tool change mystery

I was using the sharpening tool. Just checked. It's not the caps lock.

    Tool change mystery

Hey Sam, Just checked. My tool preference looks just like your sample, "Normal Brush Tip" so that's not it.

    Tool change mystery

I was just working on an image in Ps and the tool I was using changed to a small plus sign. Then I noticed all my tools now look like a plus sign. What did I accidentally do and how do I correct it? Thanks

Something has "control" of my dessktop

Hey Sam, I'm running Mojave 10.14.3. I'll try your suggestion. UPDATE: You found the problem. When I right clicked on the desktop there was an option checked called "snap to grid." I have no clue how it got checked in the middle of me working on some Ps images but I just unchecked it and...

Something has "control" of my dessktop

I have both Mac and Norton firewalls on my machine. I'd be really surprised if someone hacked into my computer. I think I accidentally triggered some setting that automatically puts all desktop items along one side of the screen. I just don't know how to turn it off.

Something has "control" of my dessktop

This may be a topic for a Mac computer forum but I'll ask just in case. I was just working in Ps and all of a sudden all my open images and folders just snapped to the right side of the monitor. When I try and move them they just snap back to the right border. I can't find what just happened so...

    Image size help needed

I'm a little embarrassed here as this was so simple to do and I didn't figure it out for myself. I ended up just dividing 3040 X 1440 by 2 which gave me 1520 X 720 and made an image using that size. Didn't lose any quality (at least none I could see on my phone) so all is good. Do have a problem...

Oh, forgot. I also have almost 5000 songs that take up a lot of space. : )
