    Illustrator wrapped cures how to

I am thinking of creating some curves like you see in the picture. Before I bang my head into the ground creating each line, I was wondering if you have any thoughts on simplifying this....maybe using the blend tool or something. Or maybe another software. thanks!

    Illustrator manipulating letters

I just figured it out....I did a minus front on pathfinder and it hollowed out the letter without having to have it as a separate object....thanks

    Illustrator manipulating letters

Thanks, I think that clipping mask is a good idea but whenever I clip the letter only the inside of the R remains. Basically the problem I am having is when you type a letter, create outlines, and then completely remove the inside control points of the "R" in the example in order to rebuild the...

Illustrator joining and filling two separate objects made with pen tool

Hawk, I see your point. I may need to send this off to get stitched in fabric and/or send it into CAD so the less splines or control points the better I believe. Having overlapping lines won't appear problematic, but I was just thinking there may be a way to use the control points of the top...

    Illustrator manipulating letters

So I've learned how to 'create outlines' and also 'expand' and 'expand appearance'. Sometimes when I need to go into a letter and change the radius manually....case in point the "R" in the attachment...I mush fill the space in with white to work other wise the entire letter will be filled in...

Illustrator joining and filling two separate objects made with pen tool

Hello again...I am unable to find a way to cleanly join the box and the roof. In the example I used the pen tool for a simple box then tried to attach a roof. It does not work cleanly for some reason if I use the join command and if I use the pathfinder I get the horizontal line removed...

Illustrator easiest way to add a corner radius

Hello...I used the Effect > Stylize > Round corners on a font and it worked great EXCEPT I need to import this into CAD and modify the control points.....I am amazed that this has rounded edges BUT the control points are as if they should be sharp angles. Is there any way to get the control...

Illustrator easiest way to add a corner radius

I'm looking for the best way to add a corner radius to each corner of a square. Is using the scissor tool the best then joining or is there a pathfinder way. I just learned that tool. thanks.

Illustrator creating lots of equally spaced lines quickly

Beautiful thanks...that will take my attention to learn the clipping mask but I will do it later tonight, much appreciated as always

Illustrator creating lots of equally spaced lines quickly

I would like to fill this rounded rectangle with closely 'equally' spaced lines at 45 deg. Any idea how to do this quickly and get each line to connect to the edge easier than what you can see I was doing? Thanks.

Illustrator joining and filling two separate objects made with pen tool

I am creating a square and then on top of that I am creating a goofy looking roof/cap. I used the pen tool only. How do you join all the segments so when I fill the object it works nicely? When you complete an object it appears from my frustration that you cannot select an anchor point on...
