    hi, when i use any type of filter, for example spin blur, the image is taking forever to render even though the laptop is new and clean. what is causing this? i've even allocated 92% RAM to photoshop in preferences. thanks

    exposure alternative?

    hi, there isn’t any exposure available as an adjustment layer when creating work as CMYK. what is the alternative? curves? i’ve tried brightness and levels and they don’t have the same effect as exposure on RGB work. thanks

    hi, can the layer fx section be used to create shiny paint/plastic effects on shapes? if i make a selection around an object (not simple shape), can i then add layer effects to this selection when it's on it's own layer? thanks
